Bets
Bets are an interesting thing that seem to engage only guys into ridiculous behavior. The general set up goes like this: Guy boasts to buddies he can do something (most likely a ridiculous thing), buddies call him out, he defends self, they bet he can't, he bets he can. The key here, is that the buddies pick something terribly embarrassing to which the guy has no choice but to accept. Guy can't do whatever ridiculous thing he previously stated he could and loses. Next thing you know he's running down an alley in nothing but rain boots and a cape. Of course this happens the exact time someone he knows is passing by, but all he has to do is offer a shrug and "lost a bet" for an explanation and all is understood. I have yet to meet any females who engage in this type of betting.
